Awards Uphold High Standards of RCBC Plaza
RCBC Plaza, one of the most multifaceted entrepreneurial landmarks in Makati City, has once again been lauded with prestigious awards that reinforce its world-class standards.

Hailed by the Makati Fire Safety Foundation Inc. RCBC Plaza has been made the recipient of the Fire Safety Award for 2009. The award was bestowed in cooperation with the City Government of Makati, Makati Fire Department, the Rotary Club of Makati and Makati Commercial Estate, Inc. Presently on its 11th year of operation as a vanguard for public fire safety and public awareness in Makati City, the Fire Safety Award is the ultimate accolade that characterizes the Fire Safety Compliance Awards Program. There are three main sub-awards distinguishing each standard of excellence, namely the Building Fire Safety Compliance award, which recognizes overall efficacy and operational cohesiveness in the installed fire systems under scrutiny; the Building Fire Brigade award, which acknowledges the effectiveness and preparedness of the building’s fire brigade in responding to actual fire emergencies; and the Corporate Fire Safety award given to the building already with an award in either of the previous categories.

As a Triple Awardee for 2009, RCBC Plaza has consistently achieved high standards in all three categories. The inspection was carried out by a team composed of Fire Safety Inspectors from the Makati Fire Department, inspectors from MAFSAFI and Office of the Building Official of Makati City.

In addition to these accolades, RCBC Realty Corporation leads the way for good corporate citizenship as one of 2008’s Top Ten Tax Payers in the City of Makati. This designation was accompanied with the award “Ten Outstanding Corporate Citizens of Makati” during the Araw ng Makati Vin d’ Honneur Reception on June 1, 2009. The two laudatory titles reinforce RCBC Realty Corporation’s reputation as a law-abiding and progressive company that always strives for excellence.
